Join to apply for the Audio Visual Service Technician (Washington DC) role at Jobs via Dice Description TEKsystems is seeking an experienced audiovisual service technician to support enterprise customers in Washington, DC. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a foundational knowledge of Crestron and AMX systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with business clients. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Crestron DM, NVX, AMX, and custom control systems. Conduct preventative maintenance tests, site surveys, and generate concise service reports. Manage multiple service projects, mentor junior field service technicians, and interface with enterprise customers. Support high‑profile audio‑visual installation and video‑wall, projection display, and digital signage projects in executive board rooms and conference centers. Qualifications 3+ years minimum field service experience with audiovisual, Cat6, and AV‑to‑IP networks. CTS Certification highly preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Two‑year diploma from a technical college or equivalent experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a physical ability to stand, kneel, crouch for long periods, climb ladders, lift 50+ pounds, and work in high, hot, humid, or cramped spaces. Physical Requirements Stand, kneel, and/or crouch for extended periods. Climb ladders and scaffolding. Lift in excess of 50 pounds. Work in high places, small, cramped places, hot humid places, or cold places. Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $45.00 – $60.00/hr. Health, dental, and vision coverage.
