Position Details: The Department of English and Writing in the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Tampa invites applications for part‑time instructors of on‑campus, in‑person Academic Writing courses.
Responsibilities
Teach one or two 4‑hour courses per semester.
Create an individual syllabus with meeting times and specific reading and writing assignments for students within departmental guidelines and program mission.
Manage online/paperwork grading system.
Qualifications Experience teaching academic writing at the college level. A Ph.D. is preferred, but at a minimum all candidates must have a Master’s Degree in English or TESOL, or an MFA in Writing.

Application Process Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term‑by‑term basis which may include fall, spring, and summer.
