We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join our growing Technical Design team and support our activewear business. Our ideal candidate should be a team player with excellent attention to detail and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to be on a talented Technical Design team and work on a leading brand in a variety of retailers!
Responsibilities
Partner with Design and create specs/construction sheets for proto and fit samples utilizing blocks.
Schedule and lead fit sessions, ensuring fit, sizing, construction, and quality are consistently achieved in line with standards; evaluate garments to determine compliance with specs.
Communicate with vendors regarding tech pack questions; provide appropriate recommendations in collaboration with cross‑functional teams; serve as a technical problem‑solving expert.
Manage and communicate product fit changes in a timely manner to ensure workflow is maintained within related systems.
Track and manage samples daily, work with Design, and ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain block library for brand in 2D, 3D, or physical samples.
Support the creation of development from initial concepts through pre‑production samples.
Communicate with team leadership and production department when issues are found; responsible for correction and communication back to the vendors with solutions and a clear record.
Qualifications
5 years+ of experience in Technical Design or related field.
Experience in garment construction, pattern making, fitting, specs, and grading.
Experience with performance apparel is a plus.
Proficient with PLM, Microsoft suite, Adobe.
Experience and/or strong desire to learn 3D CLO Software.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
Annual salary starting at $95,000.
