Opportunity The Marketing Specialist will manage and execute events and campaigns across AMER and APAC, mainly within the United States. You will collaborate with channel and specialist sales managers, partners, and cloud vendors to drive lead generation, support pipeline acceleration, and progress regional marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute regional events (virtual and in‑person) that align with brand and business goals.
Collaborate with channel and specialist sales managers to develop effective marketing campaigns.
Coordinate with partners and cloud vendors to achieve short‑ and long‑term business objectives.
Drive lead‑generation programs that increase net‑new business.
Secure funding, track pipeline activation, and act as a main point of contact for partners.
Create strategic marketing plans with defined goals and outcomes in partnership with the regional marketing lead.
Manage a regional budget, including partner funds.
Advocate for partner and specialist areas and communicate regional priorities across marketing.
Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign and event performance, recommending improvements.
Stay current on industry trends and suggest differentiated marketing strategies.
Collaborate with the wider marketing team on collateral, sales enablement, and social strategies.
Promote program success internally and externally, supporting customer testimonials and case studies.
Work closely with the global marketing team, finance, engineering, sales, and account management.
Localize global marketing programs to meet regional needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, creative writing, journalism, or related field.
3+ years of marketing experience in a tech or startup environment.
Strong knowledge of marketing automation, digital marketing, and tools such as Salesforce/Pardot.
Experience with the Cvent platform.
Interest in public cloud ecosystem news and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex information into clear copy.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously across large cross‑functional teams and multiple time zones.
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Fun, collaborative spirit; enjoys working with a dynamic team.
Willing to travel 20–30% of the year.
