UX Designer
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an UX Designer in Everett, WA. Pay Rate: $74.00 - 96.00 Job Description: We are seeking a UX Designer with a strong focus on data visualization to join AP Systems Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will translate data into clear, actionable visualizations that help to inform leaders and communicate KPI insights across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to measure key performance metrics. Translate UX analytics data into clear visualizations and narratives for leadership performance to plan meetings. Partner with Function managers, BI team, and engineers to define visualizations. Create templates, documentation, and visualization standards (colors, chart types, annotation conventions) to ensure consistency across teams. Present insights and recommendations that drive design decisions and prioritize UX improvements. Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in UX analytics, data visualization, or product analytics role. Strong proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI or equivalent. Hands-on experience with analytics platforms and SQL for data querying. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrable portfolio of dashboards and UX-focused visualizations. Ability to work in cross-functional, agile teams and manage multiple priorities. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data modeling, ETL tools, or Python/R for data manipulation and advanced analyses. Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
