Job Title: Special Collections Administrative Associate Department Name: LIBRARY ADMINISTRATION Work Location: Lexington, KY Grade Level: 41 Salary Range: $15.83-25.30/hour Type of Position: Staff Position Time Status: Full-Time Required Education: BA Required Related Experience: 2 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification: None. Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling boxes weighing up to 30 lbs; sitting and using a computer keyboard and screen for long periods of time; possible exposure to dust and mold with protective gear provided. Shift: Days. Job Summary: This position serves as the primary information contact for the UK Libraries Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) and provides administrative support to SCRC and other Research and Access Division (RAD) employees. Duties include providing primary coverage for and managing all aspects of the information desk, managing parking and event calendars, ordering office and archival supplies, handling incoming mail and outgoing shipments, coordinating student personnel hiring and onboarding, and coordinating facilities management. Other duties as assigned. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
