Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a formal planning calendar for each brand, ensuring the team is set up for success within the required timelines.
  • Collaborate with Leadership, Marketing, and Sales teams to encourage distributor and retail orders supporting brand and channel strategies across both on-premise and off-premise channels. This includes promotional activities, product listings, and event participation to enhance brand visibility and drive sales within your key DMA.
  • Work closely with the local sales team to ensure execution of national programming at the market level, making regional adjustments as needed to ensure excellence.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to identify and evaluate promotional opportunities that align with brand and sales objectives.
  • Develop consumer promotions for in-store use that enhance product engagement and boost sales.
  • Work with brand team and event coordinator to create impactful brand engagement opportunities and deliver on high visibility events.
  • Assist in the management of our regional sports partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for growth to share with HQ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a trade or field marketing role in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • General understanding of the alcoholic beverage industry, including regulatory environments and marketing compliance.
  • Experience in both off-Premise and on-Premise channels, with a solid grasp of the differing channels.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with key internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, customers, and brand partners.
  • Exceptional ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Availability to travel as required(estimated 25%).

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the spirits or beverage industry.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Military experience is a plus.
