We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a high-growth financial organization headquartered in New York City. The product reduces friction, lower costs, and access more personalized financial products.
This is a newly created role with full ownership of marketing strategy, execution, and team build-out.
Role Overview
The Head of Marketing will lead the marketing organization end-to-end, spanning demand generation, product marketing, content, and brand. This leader will define the narrative, build the operating cadence, and create the systems needed to scale pipeline and brand awareness in the B2B fintech ecosystem.
This role is ideal for a hands-on, builder-type marketing leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, is comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels, and enjoys shaping something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and integrate all core marketing pillars: demand generation, product marketing, content, and brand
- Establish marketing operating rhythms, planning cycles, and cross‑functional alignment with Sales and Product
- Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing marketing team
- Define and elevate the company’s brand, narrative, and market positioning in B2B fintech
- Partner closely with executive leadership to support expansion into new customer verticals
- Drive enterprise and mid‑market pipeline growth through scalable GTM strategies
- Build sales enablement to support an evolving enterprise sales motion
- Oversee creative output and ensure consistent quality, messaging, and tone across channels
Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience across multiple marketing disciplines
- 3–5+ years in a senior marketing leadership role (Head of Marketing / VP)
- Proven success leading B2B or enterprise marketing within growth‑stage tech or fintech environments
- Strong operator and strategist with depth in demand generation, product marketing, and content
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves in a lean organization
- Highly effective cross‑functional partner to Sales, Product, and Executive teams
- Data‑driven and creative—equally fluent in pipeline metrics and storytelling
- Builder mindset with comfort in ambiguity, speed, and experimentation
