Job Title: Associate Director, Scientific Communications Lead

Job Summary:
- Join our client’s Global Medical Affairs Oncology team as an Associate Director, Scientific Communications Lead. In this role, you'll drive the strategic plan for scientific publications and communications, ensuring alignment with medical strategies and data transparency.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic publication and communication plans with cross-functional teams.
- Lead the creation of scientific publications and materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global standards.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including authors and opinion leaders.
- Oversee vendors and budget planning for publication activities.
- Provide training and guidance on publication best practices to internal teams.
- Stay updated on trends in medical publications to enhance content and strategy.
Skills Required:
- Advanced degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Minimum of 5 years in healthcare, with 3+ years in medical publications within medical affairs.
- Strong understanding of publication planning processes and industry guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience in oncology and working with cross-functional and global teams is preferred.
- Proficiency in publication management tools and software like Datavision, MS Project, and SharePoint.
