COMPENSATION
Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $70,000-$80,000 plus bonus potential. Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan . SUMMARY
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving the overall content strategy and execution for Cardinal Group Companies across multiple channels, focusing on external corporate communications, strategic corporate marketing, and essential client-facing content compilation. This role ensures brand consistency, supports business objectives, and plays a crucial part in the successful compilation of RFP and client proposal materials.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)
- Partner cross-functionally with team leads from each company or Shared Service Team to understand business objectives and content marketing needs
- Stay apprised of industry trends (especially student and multifamily housing) and proactively develop campaigns to maintain Cardinal’s relevancy
- Serve as the owner and curator of the Client Services Content Library (e.g., master marketing deck, case studies, and standard proposal answers)
- Lead the assembly and tailoring of marketing, company, and service-specific content for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and client presentations, ensuring accuracy and brand compliance
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and create customized content pieces required for bespoke proposals
- Full-cycle management from creation to warehousing of all corporate brand collateral (digital and print)
- Ensure brand and voice consistency of all external-facing communications and deliverables
- Perform regular quarterly audits of marketing templates to maintain quality and compliance, own editing and updating process with department leads to update all digital marketing materials
- Creation and distribution of press releases and management of media relations
- Auditing and reporting of website content inaccuracies and coordinating necessary updates
- Oversee promotional and print item quotes and procurement, working with existing vendors to manage inventory stores
- Manage the communication response strategy to any negative or potentially negative media coverage for Cardinal Group or its Communities
- Manage quarterly social media ambassador program in collaboration with the Property Marketing team, overseeing recruitment, content strategy, engagement, and performance reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong history of project management skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams to meet internal deadlines
- Multi-family real estate experience and/or student housing marketing experience
- Managing and implementing strategic marketing communications plans
- Building and maintaining brand awareness
- Digital marketing inclusive of SEO, digital analytics, and social media
- Ability to quickly analyze and obtain a deep understanding of Cardinal Group Companies clients and markets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple marketing campaigns and multiple brands simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized and a commitment to perfection
- Must be creative, efficient, willing to learn
