This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative videographer to capture and produce a compelling video for a high-profile gala event. The project centers on the Boots & BBQ Gala, with the aim of showcasing the event’s atmosphere and highlighting the mission and community impact of a college preparatory school. The ideal candidate will bring a strong sense of narrative, creative direction, and technical expertise to both filming and editing, working with a mix of existing raw footage and new material to deliver a polished final product.
Deliverables
- Capture high-quality video footage during the Boots & BBQ Gala event, focusing on key moments, guest interactions, and event highlights.
- Review and incorporate existing raw footage to ensure a cohesive narrative.
- Collaborate on creative direction and storytelling approach to effectively communicate the school’s mission and community impact.
- Edit and produce a final event video that aligns with the project’s objectives and maintains a professional standard.
- Deliver all final video files in required formats and within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event videography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and editing skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing creative input and direction.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to attend the event on location in Fort Worth, Texas.
- Experience working with nonprofit or educational organizations is a plus.
