The Miami HEAT are looking for an energetic and charismatic Public Address Announcer to bring the gameday experience to life from inside Kaseya Center. The Public Address (PA) Announcer serves as the in-arena voice for Miami HEAT home games and other events as assigned. This individual is responsible for delivering clear, engaging, and accurate announcements that enhance the fan experience while maintaining the integrity and professionalism of the HEAT and NBA brand. We are searching for someone who has extensive knowledge about the NBA's players and personalities, a passionate and dynamic voice, and a love for basketball.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Provide live announcements during HEAT home games, including player introductions, starting lineups, in-game promotions, sponsor reads, and other scripted or improvised content.
- Maintain a high-energy, professional tone that aligns with the HEAT brand and engages fans throughout the event.
- Accurately pronounce the names of players, coaches, officials, and other individuals as required.
- Collaborate with Game Presentation staff to ensure timing and delivery of announcements align with show cues and event scripts.
- Respond quickly and effectively to changes or unexpected situations during live events.
- Uphold all NBA and team policies regarding impartiality, professionalism, and conduct. Be able to maintain professional and personable contact with NBA players, coaches, and officials. As a public representative of the Miami Heat, one must have a professional and personable relationship with the public at large.
- Attend rehearsals, production meetings, and training sessions as scheduled.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for The Heat Group during public appearances or emcee special events in the community, such as watch parties, social responsibility events, arena events, etc., as needed
- Provide recorded voiceover work for commercials, promotional announcements, content pieces, and other associated work product.

Education and/or Experience
- Must possess strong and clear vocal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a PA announcer, broadcaster, on-air media personality, podcaster, content creator, or voice talent in live sports or entertainment settings.
- Required to have familiarity with basketball terminology and NBA rules.
Language Skills
Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scripts and event rundowns. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The ability to accurately and convincingly speak select words and phrases in Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
