Overview
The Audience Operations Specialist plays a critical role in optimizing and managing the day-to-day operations of CNN’s Audience organization. You will own process improvements, drive cross‑functional alignment, and ensure seamless execution across a 24/7 global publishing environment. This role supports multiple Audience teams, including Homepage Programming, Off‑platform, Newsletters, and Content Experience, helping maintain the operational foundation that powers CNN’s digital presence.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize shift scheduling systems for all Audience teams, ensuring coverage across global time zones and publishing platforms.
- Design and maintain clear, consistent calendars and trackers to align coverage and communication across teams.
- Lead process improvements for scheduling workflows and coverage models; collaborate with Product/Tech to enhance tooling.
- Develop and implement centralized communications frameworks and hubs; drive adoption across editorial, product, and operations teams.
- Manage Audience team distribution lists and ensure accurate membership for smooth communication.
- Coordinate and execute cross‑functional projects from planning through implementation, maintaining timelines and deliverables.
- Produce executive‑ready materials, including presentations and strategic documentation that simplify complex information for leadership.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and operational processes.
- Lead onboarding coordination for Audience teams, including process optimization and resource development.
Qualifications
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with strong time‑management and multitasking skills.
- Effective communicator who can collaborate across editorial, product, and operations teams; strong presentation skills are a plus.
- Comfortable navigating dynamic, fast‑paced news environments with 24/7 global coverage needs.
- Proactive problem solver who anticipates operational challenges and addresses them before they impact workflows.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles in locations where legally required. Pay Range: $64,400.00 - $119,600.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
