Bloomberg Industry Group offers a fast‑paced newsroom where you can build wide audiences for top‑tier, industry‑leading journalism. The Senior Audience Editor creates and edits news content, harnessing digital platforms and tools to reach tax, legal, government, and business world audiences.

What you will do

• Plan, pitch, and execute stories that inform and delight our audiences.
• Coach reporters on breaking stories, help select feature ideas, meet deadlines, and pitch video and podcast concepts.

You need to have

• Exceptional curiosity and news judgment to unpack complicated legal and government actions and help reporters make them interesting.
• Excellent editing and writing skills.
• Highly collaborative with the ability to manage change, influence others, and communicate across diverse teams.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, and the ability to juggle stories and meet tight newsroom deadlines.
• A self‑starter who sets high standards, leads by example, and guides reporters toward stronger journalism.
• A bachelor’s degree.
• Seven or more years of experience in journalism.
