As Marketing Communication Associate Director, you will be responsible for the development and execution of all customer and consumer communication campaigns, using all channels and platforms, with a strong focus on digital and social.

Role expectations

The role will execute the communication schedule for each target segment. Your responsibilities include:

  • 1. Strategic Influence on Brand and Market Position
    • Driving brand consistency across all channels—digital, print, events, and social media.
    • Crafting strategic communication plans that align with business objectives and global marketing priorities.
    • Managing public relations and media outreach, ensuring positive brand perception and timely responses during crises.
  • 2. Business Growth and Revenue Impact
    • Executing integrated campaigns that generate leads among orthodontists and general dentists, accelerating adoption of Invisalign® and iTero® solutions.
    • Optimizing ROI through data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics to refine acquisition strategies and reduce cost per conversion.
    • Supporting strategic partnerships with Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) and group practices, which are critical for scaling Align’s digital platform.
  • 3. Internal Alignment and Change Management
    • Clear communication during organizational changes, helping employees understand new structures and priorities.
    • Development of toolkits and FAQs for managers to cascade consistent messages, which is vital during restructuring or product launches.
    • Enhancing employee engagement by bridging gaps between leadership and teams, fostering trust and clarity.
  • 4. Customer Engagement and Experience
    • Builds community engagement through influencer programs and social media strategies.
    • Delivers compelling content that educates and inspires dental professionals, strengthening Align’s leadership in digital dentistry.
    • Supports omnichannel campaigns to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints, improving customer experience and loyalty.

What we're looking for

We seek a visionary leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about driving innovation in digital dentistry. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate high-level priorities into actionable plans.

  • 10+ years of directly related experience with a minimum of 5 years marketing and marketing communications, digital and social media, marketing or communications planning experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing/business
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with enterprise CRM and multichannel marketing hubs – Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
  • Strong communication (writing, oral, & presentation) and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external key partners
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth global matrix environment
  • Able to build effective working relationships with diverse business functions within the region and globally such as Marketing, Sales, Consumer, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Legal, Project Management, etc.
  • Marketing experience in the medical device industry preferred
  • Fluency in English mandatory
  • Fluency in other relevant European languages highly beneficial
