We’re looking for a Content Strategist who thrives in client-facing environments—someone who can shape content experiences and confidently guide clients through our digital workflow.
This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, writing/editing, client communication, project flow management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal teams to support projects from scoping through launch, working closely with strategy, UX/UI, product management, and development teams to ensure content and client expectations stay aligned throughout the entire lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Lead content audits for new and existing digital projects
- Page-level analysis, content mapping, information hierarchy, structural recommendations
- Identify content gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to improve SEO, clarity, and UX
- Translate strategic goals into actionable content guidelines, messaging frameworks, and page-by-page recommendations
- Create (or oversee creation of) high-quality content deliverables, including web and application copy (UX copy, landing pages, product/service descriptions, CTAs), content migration plans and governance documents, and blog outlines and articles.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure content works holistically with IA, metadata, and structured data
- Provide content direction to designers and developers to ensure final experiences match content strategy
- Maintain and push a high standard for tone, clarity, brand alignment, narrative quality, and user experience
- Other content and copywriting/editing support as needed from the Tractorbeam team
Client Strategy & Communications
- Proposal drafting, editing, and consolidation
- Serve as the primary communications lead for select client accounts.
- Lead check-ins and guide clients through strategic and technical topics with confidence and clarity.
- Support functional requirements review, content brief development, and scoping conversations as needed
- Partner with internal teams to manage handoffs, support project management workflows, ensure accuracy, and align deliverables with client goals.
- Manage content-related scopes, feedback cycles, and expectation-setting.
- Support QA cycles and content reviews to ensure everything that launches meets Tractorbeam’s standards.

- Your work helps provide velocity for strategy, design, and development phases
What You Bring
- 7-10 years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, digital copywriting and client services, or account/project management
- Strong understanding of website content architecture, UX patterns, and digital brand storytellingweak
- Experience running content audits, creating content plans, and writing user-centered copy
- Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, organized, and proactive
- Experience guiding or managing clients, ideally within an agency environment
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in simple, actionable ways
- Comfort working with Figma, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, etc.), and standard project tools (Wrike, Harvest, etc.)
- A collaborative mindset—you enjoy working with designers, strategists, PMs, and developers
