Role Overview

We’re hiring a Marketing Content Strategist to elevate FusionSite’s digital presence across our house of brands. This role is responsible for increasing search visibility, organic traffic, and qualified conversions through high‑quality, research‑driven content. Writing is the foundation of this role. While content is increasingly consumed through visual, audio, and AI‑generated formats, strong writing remains the source material that powers search rankings, LLM visibility, sales enablement, video scripts, webinar talk tracks, and executive messaging. This role sits at the intersection of SEO, AI discovery, and B2B storytelling, and partners closely with the operational subject‑matter experts across the organization. It is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Write and optimize content for search engines and LLM‑driven discovery, translating industry‑specific topics into clear, customer‑focused language
  • Develop and execute content strategies that improve organic visibility and drive qualified traffic
  • Conduct keyword research and prioritize growth opportunities by product, market, and customer intent
  • Publish and update pages, blog posts, and components in WordPress
  • Stay current on search engine updates, AI trends, and evolving best practices in content performance
  • Develop a deep understanding of FusionSite’s Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buying journeys
  • Partner with internal experts to conceptualize and produce tailored content for focus areas
  • Own the content lifecycle end to end—from ideation and research to writing, review, and optimization
  • Create content frameworks that can be adapted across formats, including:
    • Website and landing page copy
    • Blogs and guides
    • Webinar and event storytelling
  • Collaborate with Paid, Design, and other teams to ensure content aligns with channel strategy and brand standards
  • Partner with the Data team to refine measurement frameworks and reporting
  • Use performance data to inform content strategy and iteration
  • Develop and maintain FusionSite’s voice and tone across all written content

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, or editorial roles for high‑traffic, competitive web properties
  • Strong writing and research skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly Experience partnering with product, design, and cross‑functional teams to drive results
  • Experience using data to inform strategy, guide communication, and develop go‑to‑market recommendations
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and web analytics platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in on‑page, off‑page, technical, and content SEO
  • Experience with AI content optimization (LLM visibility, structured content, summarization)
  • Familiarity with online reputation management
  • Ability to create data‑driven insights and narratives
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
