Smart City Apartment Locating is hiring: Content Creation Specialist in Austin

Position Summary

The Content Creation Specialist captures high‑quality content and manages social media strategies to boost brand awareness and lead generation for multifamily real‑estate clients.

Responsibilities

• Capture high‑quality content (professional photography, iPhone video clips, drone footage, and more) at various client properties.
• Ensure compliance with drone regulations.
• Manage all asset capture and upload to the company drive.
• Communicate with the team on property and photoshoot status to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee editing to ensure photos and videos meet brand standards.
• Create content calendars for assigned clients.
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and client expectations.
• Brainstorm new content ideas with the creative team.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in content creation and social media marketing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (required/preferred).
• 2+ years of marketing or sales experience.
• Experience running large social media accounts and/or omnichannel marketing campaigns (ideal).
• Experience with trending social media content (ideal).
• Experience in short‑form copywriting for social media captions and display advertising (ideal).
• Experience filming short‑form content and photography (ideal).
• Experience filming drone or professional photography (ideal).

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency with CapCut or similar video editing software.
• Experience with photography editing software.
• Familiarity with ClickUp.
• Videography and professional photography skills.
• Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (preferred).
• Experience using a CRM platform (preferred).
• Understanding of Mac OS X and iPhone iOS for business use.
• Effective leadership and coaching skills.
• An empathy‑driven mindset focused on delighting clients.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time‑management and project coordination; ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to handle feedback.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is open to new ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with data entry and cold calling.

Physical Requirements

• Remote work with occasional office visits (twice a year) and travel as needed.
• Travel to and tour properties and other markets required.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Adherence to compliance measures such as OSHA, CDC, infection control, and exposure control plans.
• Report hazardous conditions, accidents, and incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.

Expected Work Hours

• Typical business hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Availability for escalations outside of normal hours may be required.

Travel

• Up to 60 % of the time.
• Minimal travel may be required for business functions, team training, and cultural events.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $50,000.
