Junior Creative Executive – NBCUniversal
Universal Kids Digital Studio is a division within NBCUniversal that develops, produces, and distributes digitally native content for kids on a variety of digital platforms.
Base Pay Range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm, develop and, in some cases, produce original series for YouTube Kids.
- Familiarize yourself with company-owned IP and seek out opportunities to re‑develop for a YouTube Kids audience.
- Create pitch decks and development materials and/or hire contractors to assist in putting together necessary materials.
- Seek out talent and assemble creative teams of artists, writers and animators to aid in development process and ultimately get shows made.
- Explore new methods of production and technology and specifically seek to develop shows that plug into those pipelines.
- Hustle and self‑manage to always be thinking of “the next thing.”
- Collaborate with Legal on all contracts and clearances.
- Collaborate with Content Strategy team to identify trends and dig into analytics and infuse that knowledge back into the development process.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing and/or producing digital short‑form content and/or traditional television shows for kids (ideally preschool).
- Extreme knowledge of YouTube and/or social video and other digital platforms.
- Background in art/design, animation, writing or story editing all a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with relevant teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Operate efficiently and with empathy in a dynamic work environment.

- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
