Our client, a top ecommerce and online retail brand, is seeking a Creative Director (UI/UX) to join our growing digital experience team. This is a fulltime opportunity that is onsite five days a week.
You will help shape the end-to-end customer journey across our high-traffic ecommerce website and mobile experiences, with a strong focus on lead generation, conversion optimization, and intuitive user flows.
Leading a UX/UI team, you’ll work closely with product, marketing, and engineering to translate business goals into elegant, user-centered designs that drive measurable results. This role offers significant growth opportunities as we scale our digital footprint and expand our direct-to-consumer offerings.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of UI/UX designers across multiple lines of business to design intuitive, responsive interfaces and experiences for web and mobile across our ecommerce and lead-generation funnels.
- Own UX flows from discovery through delivery, including wireframes, user journeys, low/high-fidelity prototypes, and final visual design assets.
- Optimize existing pages and flows to improve conversion rates, lead capture, and overall customer engagement.
- Collaborate with product managers, marketers, and developers to define requirements, validate hypotheses, and ship high-quality experiences.
- Use data (analytics, A/B tests, user feedback) to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Contribute to usability testing and user research efforts; synthesize findings into clear design recommendations.
- Advocate for best-in-class UX practices and accessible, inclusive design.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in a leadership role within product design, preferably in ecommerce or online retail.
- Proven experience designing for highly trafficked websites and/or mobile experiences.
- Demonstrated success working on lead generation flows, including forms, landing pages, and conversion optimization.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design processes, from research and ideation to polished UI for web and mobile.
- Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of UX best practices, responsive design, and fundamental front-end capabilities and constraints.
- Ability to balance business goals with user needs and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders.
- Comfort working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Glendale.
Nice to Have
- Experience in DTC retail, subscription, or consumer products.
- Background in A/B testing, CRO, or performance marketing environments.
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar).
