Job Summary/Description

KCRG is seeking a skilled producer with writer/filmmaker/graphic‑designer experience to write, shoot, and edit commercials for advertising clients as well as station promotions. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller proficient in writing, cinematography, and Adobe Creative Suite editing programs, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects. This hands‑on producer must communicate effectively with on‑camera talent to achieve the best production results.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a diverse group of staff
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite and its various programs
  • Create ideas, write scripts, and coordinate commercial shoots with sales staff and advertising clients
  • Shoot and edit on multiple camera formats
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changes in the work environment and locations
  • Present ideas and gain approval and satisfaction from clients
  • Practice self‑motivation and manage multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Exercise time‑management skills and daily project flexibility
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in film production/videography preferred
  • Ability to communicate both internally with staff and externally with advertising clients
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability to be present at commercial shoot locations and in person for editing
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company‑owned vehicles
