Fox Television Stations owns and operates 29 full‑power broadcast television stations in the U.S., including 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas (DMAs) and duopolies in 11 DMAs such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. 18 stations are affiliated with the FOX Network. The stations produce roughly 1,200 hours of local news each week and distribute sports, entertainment, and syndicated content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We're hiring a Digital Content Creator for FOX 5 Atlanta. Reporting to the Digital Content Director, you will tell stories that matter most to digital and social users – and do it better than anyone else.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create compelling, UX‑focused content for news, events, and topics relevant to local users and beyond, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming, breaking news, and social media elements.
- Engage and build loyalty among communities.
- Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO).
- Serve as liaison to newsroom, ensuring digital and social dominance.
- Reach and engage users on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging social platforms.
- Work with Group Content Team and other FTS markets to distribute high‑interest stories at scale.
- Follow group standards.
- Monitor real‑time analytics.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary and assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience developing and publishing digital news content on social platforms.
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or a related field with emphasis on digital publishing.
- Excellent writer and storyteller with superior news judgement.
- Impeccable writing and copy‑editing skills with obsessive attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under deadline pressure.
- Stellar communication skills.
- Social media expert proficient in content management systems, SEO, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools.
- Video and photo editing experience (Adobe products a plus).

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate for this role is $60,000.00–$70,000.00 annually, depending on education, skills, experience, and location. The role is also eligible for benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Union‐represented employees will receive benefits in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
