Apparel Concept Creator & 3D Printing Specialist

Our client is seeking an innovative and detail‑oriented Apparel Concept Creator & 3D Printing Specialist to support early‑stage apparel concepts through hands‑on additive manufacturing and prototyping. This role blends creative problem‑solving with technical execution, partnering closely with design and engineering teams to bring experimental apparel ideas to life. The ideal candidate thrives in an evolving environment where precision, curiosity, and craftsmanship matter.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Create and prototype apparel concepts using additive manufacturing methods, including 3D printing on fabric and component development.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain 3D printing equipment to ensure consistent quality and performance.
• Translate 2D design intent into 3D models and physical prototypes that support iterative concept development.
• Collaborate closely with design and concept engineering partners as a thought partner throughout experimentation and ideation.
• Manage multiple prototypes and workflows simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, documentation, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience creating apparel concepts with hands‑on exposure to additive manufacturing or 3D printing methods.
• Strong understanding of apparel construction, material properties, and basic pattern‑making principles.
• Ability to assemble basic apparel or garment components using industrial sewing equipment.
• Familiarity with relevant software tools such as 3D apparel programs, Adobe Illustrator, and related design or communication platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

Compensation

Up to $47/hr. (DOE)
