Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Assembly: Transform raw footage into polished, professional video content for a range of media platforms.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute videos that align with strategic goals.
• Graphics & Animation: Add text overlays, graphics, and motion elements to enhance storytelling and maintain brand consistency.
• Optimization: Edit and format videos for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) ensuring the content is platform-optimized.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other creative team members, designers, and marketers to refine video assets and meet creative objectives.
• Project Management: Handle multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and high-quality standards are consistently met.
• Feedback & Iteration: Revise and adapt videos based on team and client feedback, providing multiple rounds of edits as necessary.
• Stay Current: Keep up with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software to bring fresh ideas and innovations to every project.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio or showreel that showcases your editing skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and transitions.
• Creative storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and pacing.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to integrate feedback and adapt quickly.
• Time management skills to handle multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and basic animation.
• Knowledge of video SEO for platform optimization (e.g., YouTube, social media).
• Familiarity with camera operation or understanding of the filming process.
• Experience working within an agency or in a fast-paced creative environment.
