Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ECommerce Product Photographer & Image Editor to join our in-house creative team. This role supports a fast-growing e-commerce website specializing in footwear and athleisure products. It requires a strong blend of studio photography expertise, advanced image‑editing capabilities, and professional proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and executing shot lists. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and committed to producing high-quality, accurate visual content at scale. This is a Monday–Friday, fully on‑site position with no opportunity for remote work. The role is performed in an indoor warehouse environment that is not exposed to the elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced photo‑editing software and workflows, including Adobe Photoshop (batch editing is essential), Lightroom, AI photo tools, Canon camera systems, and Ortery or similar Photobench equipment.
- Capture studio‑quality product photographs for e‑commerce, with a primary focus on shoes and athleisure items.
- Manage and oversee detailed shot lists using Microsoft Excel, including Sort & Filter functions, formula application, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP (proficiency required).
- Work closely with creative team members to maintain consistent brand standards.
- Maintain, organize, and manage all photography equipment and studio tools.
- Perform high‑volume image editing with exceptional speed and accuracy for both in‑house photography and vendor‑provided imagery.
- Apply strong knowledge of photography techniques, lighting, composition, and product styling specific to retail/e‑commerce.
- Prepare products for shooting—dressing mannequins, steaming garments, cleaning items, tying laces, removing stickers, arranging products in shot‑list order, and repackaging items after shooting.
- Stand, crouch, or move for extended periods during photoshoots as needed.
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized studio environment, including lighting, backdrops, and equipment.
- Assist in creating, refining, and streamlining photography and editing workflows.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
