We’re partnering with a growing apparel startup founded by an industry expert in the medical scrubs and functional apparel space. The company is prioritizing product development first, building a strong design foundation before expanding into sales and customer service. This role is critical to enabling that next phase of growth.

This is an opportunity for a designer who wants to be a true creative partner - someone excited to help shape product, process, and brand direction from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Lead product design and development for medical scrubs and functional apparel
• Translate healthcare professionals’ real-world needs into thoughtful, wearable designs
• Apply strong knowledge of fabrics, construction, and patterning to develop high-quality products
• Collaborate closely with an overseas pattern maker and production partners (China)
• Contribute to creative direction across product photography, website visuals, and marketing assets
• Help establish the design foundation needed to support future team and business expansion

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional fashion design experience
• Strong understanding of fabrics, patterns, and garment construction
• Experience designing for functional, workwear, or medical apparel strongly preferred
• Clear understanding of medical professionals’ workflows and performance needs
• Experience working with pattern makers and international production teams
• Familiarity with GERBER is a plus; experience with comparable pattern-making software is also acceptable
