Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Graphic Designer – Pharmaceutical Promotion & PowerPoint Specialist near Bridgewater, NJ.

Overview
Kelly Science & Clinical seeks an experienced Graphic Designer specializing in pharmaceutical and life‑sciences visual communication. This role combines creative expertise with scientific precision, supporting internal medical, commercial, and regulatory teams. The successful candidate is skilled in translating complex scientific concepts into engaging PowerPoint presentations and diverse visual assets, elevating clarity and impact while ensuring brand and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Presentation Design (Primary Focus)
- Produce high-impact, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for quarterly earnings, scientific meetings, medical affairs, commercial teams, training, and executive communications.
- Transform complex scientific content—including clinical data, MOA diagrams, study designs, and regulatory information—into intuitive, visually engaging graphics.
- Design custom templates, master slides, icons, and data visualizations consistent with brand standards.
- Optimize presentations for projection, virtual platforms, and print handouts.
Graphic Design & Visual Communication
- Create pharmaceutical-focused graphic materials, including infographics, MOA diagrams, leave‑behinds, posters, digital banners, and social media visuals.
- Closely collaborate with medical writers, brand leads, and subject matter experts to ensure scientific accuracy and enhance visual appeal.
- Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables in strict accordance with FDA promotional guidelines and company compliance standards.
- Prepare print‑ready and digital assets with meticulous attention to color fidelity, technical quality, and format requirements.
Instructional Design & eLearning (Articulate Rise)
- Develop, revise, and maintain interactive training modules using Articulate Rise and Storyline (if applicable).
- Translate scientific and commercial content into clear, learner‑centric eLearning experiences.
- Navigate and update existing Articulate projects, including text, graphics, interactive elements, and media.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to guarantee scientific accuracy and audience‑appropriate instructional design.
- Apply best practices in instructional design to deliver modules that are intuitive, compliant, and effective.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work alongside marketing, commercial, and medical teams to define project requirements and propose visual solutions.
- Participate in project kickoffs, creative reviews, and iterative refinement sessions.
- Address and incorporate feedback from legal, medical, and regulatory review processes while maintaining clarity and impact.
Project & Workflow Management
- Juggle multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain organized design files, version control, and comprehensive documentation for seamless project hand‑off.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional design experience, with at least 1–2 years supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical communications projects.
- Advanced PowerPoint proficiency, with expertise in layouts, custom graphics, animations, and template development.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Demonstrated skill in interpreting and visualizing scientific information.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical branding, compliance, and regulated content workflows.
- Working knowledge of Veeva PromoMats or comparable MLR review systems.
Preferred
- Experience in medical communications agencies or in‑house pharma/biotech teams.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical data structures, and scientific illustration.
- Proficiency with motion graphics or interactive presentations (After Effects, HTML5) a plus.
- Hands‑on experience in Articulate Rise or similar eLearning authoring platforms.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
