Illustrator / Designer needed for Child Cancer Story Coloring Activity Book
Need: Illustrator / Designer for our Child Cancer Story Coloring Activity Book. We would appreciate skills with Amazon setup.
This book shares the true story of Elana—a teen cancer survivor and singer—who turned her pain into a mission to help children with cancer. We’re seeking a thoughtful expert who will handle this deeply personal project with care and sensitivity.
The book was previously illustrated/ designed but needs to be redone or done from scratch.
Project Details
- Deadline: January 2026 (to bring to our summer camp)
- Purpose: To comfort and inspire kids with cancer during long hospital stays. The book will be donated to them.
- Audience: Children (ages 4-16) and anyone needing encouragement
- Style: Warm, engaging, with a clear reading flow (not overly busy)
- Specs: 8.5” x 11” / 21.59cm x 27.94cm. 30 pages. A few pages are colored, and not every page includes illustrations.
- Note: The book will include a plushie (Guinea pig, TBD)
About Elana and her cause
We are incredibly proud of Elana Koenig, teen cancer survivor honored as the youngest Rad Human on the Kelly Clarkson Show on July 23rd, 2024. She founded the Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation (KCCF) in 2020, and through its efforts, has helped 3,600 families and delivered 65,000 gift/care bags to hospitalized children fighting cancer.
