Middle School School Library Media Specialist (Grades 7-8)

Reeds Spring School District is located 30 minutes south of Springfield on beautiful Table Rock Lake and serves the communities of Reeds Spring, Branson West, Kimberling City, Cape Fair, and Indian Point.

Qualifications

The applicant must hold a valid and current Missouri Teaching Certificate in the appropriate subject areas or a written plan for obtaining certification.

Job Requirements

This individual will demonstrate a variety of organizational and instructional strategies that create an optimum learning environment for the students by helping to enhance learning for all. They will also possess the ability to collaborate effectively with building admin and teaching staff while working towards achieving school and district goals aligned to the district’s Strategic Plan. They will also possess the ability to collaborate effectively and work towards achieving school and district goals.

RSMS has an enrollment of approximately 250 students in grades 7-8 and employs around 45 staff members. Our building facility is a modern, state-of-the-art middle school incorporating multiple collaboration spaces into the classroom design. In addition, the school district has a competitive salary, offers additional benefits, and has transitioned to a 4-day school week. Coaching duties may also be available for qualified applicants. This individual will also teach elective classes dependent on additional certifications.
