Schedule: 5:30am-4pm, 4 days a week, rotating monthly between Mon‑Thurs and Tues‑Fri.

Position Details

We are currently recruiting for a Pharma Literature Packer to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting our Bindery (Finishing) department. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing type of environment; however, we are willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Pack printed pharmaceutical literature materials efficiently and accurately.
• Use ruler measurements, and basic computer and math skills.
• Inspect all finished products to ensure quality integrity prior to being prepared for shipment.
• Follow safety and quality procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality products.
• Work as a team member to meet production standards.
• Prepare all finished products for shipment which includes boxing, taping, labeling, preparing a packing list, shrink‑wrapping and banding when necessary.
• Work in other areas in manufacturing as needed.
• Knowledge and application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Assist in clean up and keeping work area neat and orderly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
• One or more year(s) experience in a bindery, shipping, or packing role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance.
