Associate Media Director, Biddable Media
Silverlight Digital is seeking an Associate Media Director, Biddable Media to help lead and oversee paid search, paid social, and programmatic efforts across our client portfolio. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who understands how biddable channels work together within a full‑funnel media strategy, and who brings strong programmatic experience and industry relationships to the table.
This role is ideal for a senior biddable leader who can guide clients confidently, mentor channel specialists, and step in hands‑on when needed while also serving as a strategic partner to DSPs and data providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑channel biddable media strategy across paid search, paid social, and programmatic
- Serve as a senior, client‑facing media partner, translating complex performance data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DSP vendors, social platform reps, data partners, and media technology providers
- Identify new opportunities that enhance campaign performance and innovation
- Oversee and mentor channel specialists and contractors across biddable disciplines
- Step in hands‑on and ensure QA through launches, transitions, or complex optimization scenarios
- Ensure campaigns align with budgets, scopes of work, and client goals
- Collaborate closely with Client Success and Media leadership to deliver seamless execution
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability across biddable channels
- Hands‑on experience managing programmatic campaigns within a DSP and/or on search/social platforms (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.)
- Strong understanding of multichannel planning, audience strategy, and optimization
- Experience working closely with DSP/Platform partners and healthcare‑relevant data providers
- Bonus points for experience with PulsePoint and/or DeepIntent (not required, but highly valued)
- Comfort representing the agency in conversations with vendors, partners, and platform representatives
What We’re Looking For
- 6–9+ years of experience across paid search, paid social, and/or programmatic media
- Deep experience in biddable media, including hands‑on platform execution
- Proven ability to build and leverage vendor and data partner relationships
- Strong understanding of how biddable channels work together within an integrated media plan
- Confident, composed presence in client meetings and presentations
- Experience mentoring junior and mid‑level team members
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated‑industry experience is a plus
