Media Specialist Job at Educology Solutions in Rockville

ESI is seeking a Media Specialist to provide video services for one of our customers.

MUST LIVE IN PROXIMITY TO ROCKVILLE MARYLAND

Responsibilities

• Coordinate video shoots with Sworn and Unsworn staff, Public Information Officer and Information Management & Technology (IMTD) technical teams.
• Produce, film, and edit video content.
• Manage projects related to video shoots, podcasts, and documentaries.
• Coordinate resources required for recordings, block time on staff schedules, and communicate with the entire team routinely to keep everyone informed.
• Manage approval for release of the video/podcast/episode.
• Properly maintain video equipment.
• Recommend procurement of additional video equipment to the Deputy Director and Director of Information Management and Technology.
• Provide lighting and sound support.
• Train centralized and decentralized support staff across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in video production.
• Willing and able to work flexible hours, days, nights, and weekends with planned notice to cover a wide variety of audio and video needs.
