The Media Planner & Buyer will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing media plans that align with client goals. Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Media Planning:

  • Develop media plans that align with client objectives and target the right audiences across digital channels including programmatic, social, search, display, and video.
  • Conduct audience research and leverage data insights to inform media strategies.
  • Work closely with creative, account, and analytics teams to ensure media plans are integrated and support overall campaign goals.

Media Buying:

  • Execute media buys across various digital platforms, ensuring placements are optimized for performance and within budget.
  • Negotiate rates, placements, and terms with media vendors to secure the best value for clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media vendors to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Campaign Management:

  • Monitor media campaigns in real-time, making adjustments as necessary to improve performance and meet client KPIs.
  • Analyze campaign data and generate insights to optimize current and future media strategies.
  • Provide regular updates on campaign performance, including detailed reports and recommendations.

Budget Management:

  • Manage and track media budgets across all assigned accounts, ensuring efficient allocation of spend to maximize ROI.
  • Assist in financial planning and forecasting related to media buys and campaign execution.
  • Ensure all media spend is accurately documented and reported.

Client Communication:

  • Collaborate with account management teams to present media plans, campaign performance, and optimization recommendations to clients.
  • Address client inquiries and provide strategic media insights to support their business goals.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients regarding campaign progress and any adjustments needed.
  • Work closely with other media planners and buyers, sharing insights and best practices to improve team performance.
  • Collaborate with creative, analytics, and account teams to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing input on media strategies and contributing to overall team success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in digital media.
  • Experiment with new media channels, formats, and technologies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Share learnings and innovative ideas with the team to help drive agency growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying.
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
  • You have experience with media planning tools, DSPs, and analytics platforms.
  • You have strong negotiation skills and experience managing media vendor relationships.
  • You are able to manage budgets effectively and deliver campaigns within budget and deadlines.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.
  • You are detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
