Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of assigned clients as their SEO subject matter expert, proactively advocating for their programs and driving progress
  • Oversee research, analysis, and insights of assigned accounts, communicating clear requirements and ensuring reporting aligns with client objectives
  • Directly manage team members, setting expectations and reviewing both their performance and deliverables
  • Conduct comprehensive content, technical, and reputation audits using a suite of tools and transform insights into actionable recommendations for clients
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation during site designs, redesigns, and migrations to ensure adherence to SEO best practices
  • Identify emerging opportunities and proactively surface recommendations to clients and the department through compelling presentations
  • When needed, lead client calls, communicate channel performance and industry updates, and follow up on critical discussion points and next steps
  • Manage key vendor (client and Acadia third party tools) relationships for assigned accounts, ensuring effective utilization of tools like Rio, Yext, Stat, and Semrush

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct SEO experience, including content strategy and web development (understanding basic HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and intermediate Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Proficient knowledge of SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog, Semrush, Stat) and the ability to use data to make compelling arguments
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong self-management skills, but with the humility to ask for help when needed
  • Curiosity: An inquisitive mindset and passion for learning about Acadia and our clients' businesses and how SEO can help them
