We’re seeking a dynamic SEO Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and management of SEO strategies for multiple clients at Eight Oh Two Marketing, a leading search engine and performance marketing agency.

Position responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple clients.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives, and tailor SEO initiatives accordingly.
• Conduct thorough keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
• Implement on-page and off-page optimization techniques to improve website visibility and rankings.
• Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures, for enhanced search engine visibility and user experience.
• Drive content strategy development, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and client objectives.
• Create engaging blog posts, articles, and other content formats to attract qualified leads.
• Monitor website performance and SEO metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports and recommendations to clients, ensuring clear communication of strategies and results.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and algorithm updates, adjusting strategies as needed to maintain optimal performance.

Required knowledge & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in SEO best practices.
• Proven ability to develop and execute content marketing strategies.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on SEO optimization.
• Experience with keyword research tools like SEMrush.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in layman’s terms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay abreast of industry trends and changes.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 (Full‑time)
