Job Title

Cleaner/Studio Janitorial Associate at Empire Portfolio Group (Orangetheory Fitness franchise)

Overview

Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for members and staff at an Orangetheory Fitness studio. Work independently and support deep‑cleaning tasks during non‑peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the studio, including workout areas, fitness equipment, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, lobby, offices, and break areas.
• Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes).
• Remove trash and sanitize bins daily.
• Perform routine tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces frequently throughout shifts.
• Monitor cleaning inventory and notify the manager when supplies need to be reordered.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, especially CDC guidelines for fitness centers.
• Support deep‑cleaning tasks during non‑peak hours as scheduled.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and mobility (lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods).
• Flexible schedule; availability for early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts.

Work Environment

Primary setting is a fitness studio where cleanliness and safety are critical. Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor when interacting with staff and members.
