DRH Search is hiring: Sr. UX/UI Engineer in Town of Poland

We’re assisting a well-funded startup with their search for a Sr. UX/UI Engineer. Their product provides a connecting layer to unite security data silos and enable teams to build data-native security and compliance programs. They’re headquartered in SF but open to remote candidates from anywhere in the US.

Company tech stack: SvelteKit, Typescript, TailwindCSS, Kubernetes, Go, Svelte.js

What you’ll do:

• Design User-Centric Interfaces
• Take ownership of UX/UI design processes, from ideation to implementation, focusing on crafting simple, intuitive, and elegant user experiences for security professionals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct user research, define personas, and map out user journeys that inform the product’s design.
• Build Intuitive Frontends: Work hands-on in the platform UI to bring designs to life, ensuring pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces.
• Collaborate closely with engineers responsible for other areas of the platform to bring new features and enhancements to production.
• Shape Product Vision: Act as a bridge between design and product, contributing to roadmap planning by balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to translate complex workflows into simple, effective designs that resonate with users.
• Champion User Experience: Advocate for a user-first mindset across the organization, balancing technical and aesthetic considerations to elevate the overall product experience.
• Build and maintain reusable design and component systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.

What you’ll bring:

• 7+ years of engineering experience and experience with design.
• Experience in early-stage startups (pre-seed to Series B) - comfortable with lack of structure and working in small teams.
• A strong understanding of Figma and front-end fundamentals, and the ability to code your designs when needed.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with APIs, data models + visualization, ETL pipelines, or analytics platforms.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional UX/UI design skills, ideally for technical tools or data-heavy applications.
• Experience with React, Svelte.js, or SvelteKit.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Go.
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry or working on data-intensive products.
