Full Stack Web Developer (LAMP)

SUMMARY We are partnering with a global digital advertising services client seeking a skilled, innovative, and passionate Full Stack Web Developer to join their development and omni-channel digital teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, enhancement, and optimization of monetized websites and digital distribution platforms.

As a member of a dynamic, technology-driven organization, you will work on cutting-edge projects focused on building scalable, high-performing websites and platforms that drive revenue and strengthen our client's digital advertising presence within the media and broadcasting industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain WordPress-based websites using custom themes and plugins
  • Implement custom WordPress functionality using PHP
  • Manage MySQL databases for data storage and retrieval
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux (Ubuntu) and Nginx servers
  • Develop and maintain front-end features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
  • Ensure and maintain cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Monitor, optimize, and maintain site performance, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and web accessibility

Technical & Security Responsibilities

  • Integrate third-party APIs (social media, advertising, analytics)
  • Maintain WordPress security through updates and vulnerability patching
  • Implement and maintain caching and performance optimization strategies
  • Participate in Agile development processes

Requirements & Skills

Experience

  • Multiple years of professional experience developing and maintaining websites and applications in a full‑stack capacity
  • Strong understanding and capability developing in a LAMP stack environment
  • Experience building and maintaining new websites, either from scratch or templates
  • Familiarity and interest in web analytics, audience measurement, and digital marketing/advertising
  • Experience with social media marketing pixels implementation

Technical Skills

  • Strong PHP (8.3) coding skills with OOP principles
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
  • Expertise WordPress Framework (6.7.1), including the ability to develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, including creating and using custom-built themes and plugins
  • Knowledgeable in MySQL database management or other relational, open-source, or NoSQL databases
  • Experienced and strong ability to administer and troubleshoot Linux Ubuntu and Nginx servers
  • Experience or familiarity with AWS architectures and AWS tools such as EC2 and S3
  • Knowledge of caching systems (Redis, Memcached)
  • Ability to develop, implement, and debug APIs such as RESTful and GraphQL
  • Well-versed with UI/UX design principles
  • Familiarity with web & data analytics platforms
  • Understanding of A/B testing and CRO

Bonus Experience & Skills

  • Exposure to developing and maintaining monetized websites (highly preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken Spanish fluency)
  • Prior experience working in a development role at an Advertising, Media, Entertainment, or Broadcasting company
