Location
This position is full‑time (40 hours per week) Monday‑Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8‑hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The role is located at 26 Century Blvd, Suite ST610, Nashville, TN 37214.
What You'll Do
- Plan, design, research, write and edit a range of internal and external communications materials for the company and subsidiaries, including user guides, ISO and other standard format procedure manuals, responses to RFIs/RFPs, white papers and reports, presentations, etc. Edit copy; proof design; and assist with design direction of materials.
- Organize, develop, compose and prepare clear, concise, and readable written text, graphics and charts/diagrams, and coordinate layout and material organization. Deliver the final product and ensure it is professional in appearance and meets all policy standards and internal/external requirements.
- Work with business partners, colleagues, customers, etc., to identify business needs. Analyze project requirements to determine types of documents needed. Partner with and interview subject‑matter experts (SMEs) in technical, operational and support areas to collect, interpret information and compose technical content. Research and identify available reference sources to successfully complete projects and ensure that all guidelines are met with respect to proper usage of logos and brands.
- Develop documentation project plans and timelines, track projects and maintain a high level of customer service with customers. Ensure appropriate staff and management are informed of project status.
- Maintain best‑practice documentation for internal and external use, maintain the corporate history knowledge base and routine material generated for executive and board meetings, and prepare monthly/weekly reports for management regarding all plan‑development activities to include completed items and incomplete/pending items.
To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Required Work Experience: Four years of communication experience, including business technical writing and various writing styles and standards.
- Skills and Abilities: Collaborates with stakeholders, coordinates production, designs communications materials, plans development projects, presents concepts to clients, writes communication content.

- Portfolio of writing samples.
- Proficiency in AP Style, Plain Language and/or 508 accessibility.
- Experience writing business proposals.
- Experience writing work instructions.
