This range is provided by Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $40.00/hr

What You’ll Do

• Set your own hours and tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
• Earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—reaching up to $40/hour.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.
• Be matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Deliver 1-on-1 online tutoring and on-demand tutoring as available.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Business Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
