Hourly Base Pay

  • $18.00 per hour plus commission. Compensation increases based on performance.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Smartphone for timekeeping and appointment setting

Responsibilities

  • Represent Patio Enclosures or one of Great Day’s brands at local events such as trade shows, fairs, festivals, and conferences.
  • Engage in face‑to‑face conversations with prospective customers to promote the brand’s products and services.
  • Transport and set up or tear down exhibit displays and materials per guidelines.
  • Schedule free inspections and estimates with potential customers following best practices.
  • Capture interest and generate leads through enthusiastic and informative communication.
  • Work independently or in a team environment to represent assigned brand with passion and professionalism.
  • Grow within the company and expand to represent additional brands.
  • Adapt to various event environments and engage with a wide range of customer personalities.
  • Travel to event locations and participate in door‑to‑door marketing as needed.
  • Manage flexible work hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
  • Timely submission of all timecards and paperwork.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage with customers energetically.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for connecting with people and sharing product knowledge.
  • Ability to inform, persuade, and generate leads while promoting brand value.
  • Resilience against rejection while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Team‑oriented yet able to work independently with initiative at events.
  • Adaptability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Experience

  • 1‑3 years of experience in sales or marketing preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in tradeshow marketing or customer‑facing roles is advantageous.
  • Experience in inside or outside sales is helpful but not mandatory.
