Overview

Audacy Cleveland is searching for a dedicated and creative show producer to join the team at WKRK 92.3 The Fan! The producer will manage daily expectations of on‑air hosts, oversee editing and show flow, craft episode outlines, and collaborate closely with hosts and guests.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a dynamic individual who is organized, innovative, has a sharp ear for quality content, and excels in talent management. Strong understanding of social media and its role in building brand loyalty is essential. Passion for sports and expertise in talk show production are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily expectations of on‑air hosts and programming strategy.
  • Manage the quality and execution of a show on 92.3 The Fan by overseeing editing, show flow, and direction in close collaboration with on‑air talent.
  • Help generate show discussion that drives conversations and listenership while booking informative and engaging guests.
  • Collaborate with hosts to structure interview questions and create episode outlines.
  • Select and share the best audio clips with our video, social, and editorial teams.
  • Manage the podcasting of the show both on the app and on the station web site.
  • Make editorial decisions on length, outlines, and scripting.
  • Ensure promotions and contests are executed properly.
  • Assist in running video feed as needed and posting video highlights/clips for the station, as needed.
  • Work with the Production and Operations Managers to meet audience and revenue goals.
  • Be prepared to take on multiple projects and additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of production experience in sports media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Audition or similar audio editing software.
  • Familiarity with podcast publishing platforms such as Amperwave.
  • Video editing and production experience is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the podcasting and sports radio landscape.
  • Experience in talent, editorial, and production management.
  • Skilled in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or similar applications.
  • Excellent organizational, detail‑oriented, and time‑management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while leading collaborative efforts.
  • Ability/potential to fill in as a host when needed across the station.
  • Capacity to multitask effectively.
