Title : Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Compensation : $60,000 base salary + significant equity
Location : Colorado-based (must be able to meet in Denver monthly)

Chella USA Corp produces Churchkhela, an ancient Georgian snack made from nuts and concentrated fruit juice. We use a traditional Georgian recipe and craft everything right here in North America so this centuries‑old, wholesome snack is accessible to modern consumers. Our products are made with simple, clean ingredients — no added sugars, no chemicals, no artificial anything.
We’re a fast‑growing consumer goods ecommerce brand selling through our Shopify store as well as Amazon and Etsy. With strong traction, a loyal customer base, and a lean, execution‑focused culture, we’re now looking for a CMO who wants meaningful equity and the opportunity to help take Chella to the next phase of growth.
The Role
We’re hiring a CMO who thrives in an entrepreneurial, no‑ego environment. Someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, lead strategy, and also execute. You’ll own every marketing channel, manage contractors, and build a profitable system across paid, organic, email, and marketplaces — all while holding a meaningful stake in the company’s future.
This is an equity‑first role. You’ll be joining the C‑suite, shaping brand direction, and influencing long‑term value creation.
What You’ll Lead
You’ll take full ownership of the entire marketing department :
Digital Advertising
- Meta, Pinterest, and Google Ads
- ROAS optimization and efficient scaling
Email, SMS & Retention
- Audience segmentation & lifecycle management
Marketplace Growth
- Amazon & Etsy listing optimization, organic ranking, and paid ads
- Improve conversion rates, AOV, and marketplace visibility
Website, SEO & CRO
- Shopify site management
- Landing page testing & performance optimization
- On‑page SEO, keyword strategy, and traffic growth
Organic Social & Content
- Content strategy + creative direction
- Participate in C‑suite strategy and positioning
- Manage freelancers & agencies within tight budgets
- Contribute to product roadmap, pricing strategy, and growth planning
Who You Are
- A growth‑minded, resourceful, data‑driven marketer
- Able to responsibly stretch budget and manage ROAS
- Can execute AND lead strategy — no task too big or too small
- Comfortable building systems from scratch
- Personable, direct, and allergic to corporate nonsense
- Hungry for a meaningful equity stake
- Interested in helping a brand grow toward a major strategic inflection point in the next few years
- Based in Colorado or willing to travel to Denver monthly
Performance‑Based Equity (ROAS & Revenue KPIs)
CMO earns base equity + performance equity based on hitting marketing performance and ROAS efficiency targets:
- High ROAS combined with revenue growth unlocks additional bonus equity tranches
- Performance tiers will be tied to measurable monthly/quarterly ROAS benchmarks
