Overview

Director, Sales Marketing – Remote at NFP, an Aon company. NFP is a multiple Best Places to Work award winner in Business Insurance and a consultative advisor organization. The role will drive marketing initiatives for the sales organization in North America, develop go‑to‑market strategies, manage large‑scale sales campaigns, partner with sales, enablement, and corporate teams, and lead the portfolio of sales marketing campaigns with impact reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales marketing initiatives for the US and Canada sales organization.
  • Key contact for Sales Operations, CSO, distribution, sales enablement, producer recruiting, and corporate development teams.
  • Strategic owner of sales marketing campaigns, including full portfolio oversight and impact measurement.
  • Develop go‑to‑market strategy and collaborate with core team to identify target audience, market, value proposition, and marketing approach.
  • Identify KPIs and collaborate with brand and digital marketing for campaign assets and deliverables.
  • Own sales marketing analytics, providing ongoing reporting to marketing and sales leadership in collaboration with digital, brand, and SEM leaders.
  • Advise marketing managers on optimal go‑to‑market strategy and enablement for sales teams.
  • Partner with field marketing leader on regional sales marketing initiatives, campaigns, and opportunities to nationalize across regions.
  • Lead the marketing plan for joint sales initiatives between NFP and Aon, Connected Value.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement on templated sales outreach, Sales Enablement kits, and producer marketing optimization.
  • Support the sales and marketing tech stack, optimizing tool usage.
  • Support integrated sales campaigns partnering with corporate development teams.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to maintain and audit the lead handoff process from NFP.com and other campaigns.
  • Manage and coach the sales marketing manager reporting directly to this role.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the sales process and stages of the buyer’s journey.
  • Marketing plan, strategy, and timeline development.
  • Salesforce CRM, Pardot, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, event marketing management, industry sponsorship marketing management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Education

  • BA in marketing, journalism, or related field.
  • 8–10+ years of marketing experience.
