As a Senior Video Editor within the Asset and Wealth Management Video Team, you will help shape the visual identity of our brand through expertly edited video content for diverse platforms. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-impact, informative, and creative videos that resonate with our target audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure every piece of content aligns with our strategic goals and brand standards. Your contributions will directly influence audience engagement and brand perception.
Responsibilities
Edit creative and informative branded video content for various platforms, including social media
Collaborate with producers, designers, and marketing teams to develop compelling visual narratives
Utilize advanced After Effects techniques to enhance video quality and storytelling
Optimize and innovate video editing workflows
Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual style across all content
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and quality standards
Review and implement feedback from stakeholders to refine video deliverables
Organize and archive video assets for efficient retrieval and reuse
Stay current with industry trends and emerging video technologies
Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing and post-production
Present creative concepts and finished edits to internal teams and clients
Required Qualifications
10 years of professional video editing experience, focused on branded and social media content in the financial, entertainment and news genres.
10 years of hands-on experience with Adobe After Effects
Proven creative reel demonstrating advanced editing and motion graphics capabilities
Demonstrated expertise in using Gen AI video tools for content enhancement
Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Firefly)
Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows
Excellent storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and project management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
Effective communication skills for presenting ideas and feedback
Preferred Qualifications
Experience editing content for global brands or large-scale campaigns
Familiarity with 3D animation and compositing tools
Knowledge of color grading and audio post-production
Experience with live-action and animated video formats
Background in marketing or advertising environments
Understanding of social media trends and platform-specific requirements
Ability to mentor junior editors and contribute to team development
