About the Role We’re seeking a Product Designer to shape consumer‑facing, native mobile experiences used at massive scale. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle—from early ideation to pixel‑perfect execution—bringing strong systems thinking, clear information architecture, and exceptional visual craft to complex technical problems. You’ll own major product surfaces and collaborate closely with product, engineering, research, and content strategy partners.
What You’ll Do
Design simple, elegant flows for complex, interconnected systems
Translate broad concepts and advanced system features into intuitive experiences for both power users and general consumers
Apply and extend design systems with precision, polish, and consistency
Contribute to high‑level product strategy and decision‑making
Partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, and content strategists from conception through launch
Give and solicit critique to raise quality and maintain high standards of craft
Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale to cross‑functional partners and leadership
Must‑Have Qualifications
Hybrid work required in either the Bay Area or Seattle
High‑craft visual and interaction design with a strong portfolio of shipped work
Deep experience designing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
Proven track record building consumer‑facing products at scale
Strong systems thinking and information architecture; able to structure complex, interconnected functionality for clarity and scalability
Ability to simplify dense, technical features into accessible experiences for broad audiences
Mastery of design systems; meticulous attention to detail, precision, and polish
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
End‑to‑end hybrid UX/UI product design experience and examples of interaction design work (please include URLs)
Experience building and shipping applications or software
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
10+ years of professional experience
Nice‑to‑Have Experience
AI, hardware, or wearables design experience
Advanced prototyping capabilities (high‑fidelity interactive prototypes)
Ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations and scale design work across teams
Strong product strategy skills connecting design decisions to user needs and business outcomes
Front‑end programming exposure
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. The role is hybrid in either the Bay Area or Seattle.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85.00 – $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
