Job Description We’re looking for an Associate Experience Design Director to lead in crafting thoughtful, intuitive digital experiences that serve both user needs and business goals—primarily in the website product space. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, and refine solutions that are strategically grounded and user-centered.

Responsibilities

Lead and balance multiple tracks within mid-to-large sized projects

Provide estimation of relevant deliverables based on project requirements, timelines and resources

Communicate effectively with stakeholders about project scope, definition and purpose of XD artifacts to support project objectives.

Lead experience strategy and work with team to prioritize projects

Contribute to growing experience design client opportunities organically by providing strategic value and relevant recommendations within existing project accounts.

Participates in pitches as key day-to-day support role on research, concept and proposal.

Lead and facilitate collaborative cross-disciplinary idea generation and client co-creation sessions

Articulate to client with sound critical thinking and rationale for design approach/recommendations in the context of both business and user needs

Balances leading and supportingmultiple projects while managing allocation time effectively.

Approach scope challenges with clients and educate client on value of assets and process within project track(s).

Take ownership intranslating design constraints frominternal and client feedback and can articulate next steps to team and client on recommended design decisions and dependencies.

Help team leads andclient navigate through areas of requirement gaps and uncertainty in a constructive manner with thought leadership and actionable next steps.

Vet Tickets and allocate them to appropriate parties

Vet client requests and provide solution from existing available components or provide strategy to enhance/ create new ones as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree experience in interaction design, human-computer interaction, or industrial design preferred. Certification programs, workshops and/or bootcamps also considered with 5+ years of professional experience with both agency and consulting companies

Experience working in Pharmaceutical space preferred.

Experience in UX/UI patterns for transactional or ecommerce experiences

Ability tocollaborate and lead focused, organized design solutionswith strategy, research, analytics, visual design, content strategy, copy and technology

Ability to act as subject matter expertise in a particular industry or vertical with XD craft.

Deep background in product design with enterprise clients following scaledagile and waterfall delivery methodologies for content/campaign projects.

Experience leading design systems for wide range of digital interfaces usingatomic design and design thinking methodologies.

Experience scoping and estimating XD activities for medium and small projects for enterprise and agency clients.

Proficiency at refining and adapting XD artifact to project based on constraints and guiding team accordingly.

Experience acting as lead on XD tracks on contentcampaign, product/platform and physical/digital projects

Experience leading and guidingother XD team members on medium sizedprojects.

Able to operate seamlessly within medium to large-sized teams, preferably in a cross disciplinary digital agency

Proficient at creating key XD artifacts within design thinking methodology

Working knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies, responsive web, atomic design and design systems.

Experience creating and enhancing Information Architecture to improve user experience, navigation and findability, manage content, and more

Experience inResearch is a bonus

Tools:Figma, JIRA, Adobe Creative Suite

Compensation Range: $80- $91/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
