Church of the Resurrection, a vibrant Roman Catholic parish of approximately 1,100 families, seeks a

Director of Music and Communications . This position may be structured as full-time or part-time, with the parish’s

primary need focused on leadership of the Music Ministry . Communications and technology responsibilities will be adjusted for a part-time role.

Primary Responsibilities – Music Ministry

Provide keyboard accompaniment and musical leadership for all parish liturgies, including weekends, Holy Days, funerals, weddings, and special prayer services.

Plan and prepare liturgical music and worship aids using both traditional and contemporary repertoire (Gather, 4th ed.).

Recruit, rehearse, and support choirs, cantors, instrumentalists, and youth musicians.

Manage the music budget, library, instruments, sound systems, and licensing (OneLicense).

Coordinate the parish’s annual

Music in a Sacred Space

concert series.

Collaborate with the pastor, staff, and parish leadership in support of vibrant liturgical worship.

Communications & Technology (Adjusted if Part-Time)

Oversee livestreaming of liturgies and parish events.

Coordinate parish communications across print and digital platforms, including bulletin, website, email, social media, and parish app.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in music or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong piano and organ skills with experience leading congregational singing.

Knowledge of Roman Catholic liturgy.

Experience with Microsoft Office, parish websites, and social media; graphic design and audio/video skills a plus.
