Overview We are looking for a Senior Digital Media Manager in Winston Salem, NC. The role drives strategic media planning excellence across our brands and internal stakeholders. The Senior Manager, Media works closely with our media agency of record and oversees media planning outputs and key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of high-impact media plans and RFP responses that drive measurable brand outcomes.
Communicate the strategic direction to media agency partners and ensure alignment to brand goals and brand safety.
Oversee the clarity and quality of media planning deliverables to internal stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for our brands and agency, proactively navigating challenges and maintaining strong partnerships.
Coordinate with Insights & Foresights, Performance, and Digital Partnerships to keep planning efforts on track.
Manage brand partners and media agency to deliver consistent timelines.
Collaborate with event activation teams to execute 360° fully integrated activation plans.
Partner with legal, regulatory, and finance to ensure compliance and business objectives.
Support delivery of creative assets with brands, creative agencies, and the media agency, ensuring brand safety requirements are met.
Leverage consumer insights and market trends to inform media planning and optimize performance.
Monitor and report on KPIs to evaluate effectiveness of brand media planning.
Qualifications
Deep understanding of digital and integrated media planning and ability to connect upper‑funnel strategies to brand goals.
Knowledge across all online and offline media channels and their role in the consumer journey.
Confidence in owning media planning responses and strategic recommendations; can manage large projects with limited oversight.
Thrives in a collaborative, in‑office environment and works well across other marketing teams.
Trusted internal partner who communicates clearly and navigates fast‑paced environments.
Highly organized with ability to manage shifting priorities and tight timelines.
Experience coaching internal strategists on media planning’s role within D2C touchpoints and delegating work to agencies with clear direction.
Problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate fast‑paced settings.
College degree preferred; 5+ years of experience with online advertising or digital media.
Experience with a variety of media platforms (programmatic, direct partnerships, vendors).
Strong analytical skills in online ad campaign metrics, industry trends, technologies, and pricing models (CPM, CPC).
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
