JOB DESCRIPTION Fox & Friends is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented, and creative Producer to join the #1 National Cable Morning Show, Fox & Friends. As a Producer, you will be responsible for pitching stories, writing scripts, and selecting/building elements in a collaborative team environment. You're well-versed in politics, culture, and current events - and innately curious about everything else. We are looking for someone who has excellent editorial judgment and can meet multiple daily deadlines.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Create research packets

Pre-interview guests

Design graphics

Write stories, guest intros, teases, banners

Pitch stories, segments and guests

Gather video and sound from press conferences, interviews and in the field

Edit video, sound and packages for air

Work closely with Senior Producers and Talent

Create an environment that fosters teamwork

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

5+ years of newsroom experience and producing a television newscast

Knowledge of current events and politics

Exceptional editorial and writing skills

Ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television

Participate in daily team meetings

Excellent organizational and managerial skills

Decisive and skilled management

Willing to work weekends, early morning and late nights

A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-90,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
